A document management system (DMS) is a computer system (or a set of computer programs) used to store and track electronic documents and/or images of paper (hard copy) documents. In the broadest sense, document management ranges from a shoe box full of your important papers all the way to an Enterprise Content Management System.
Document Indexing (Archive & Retrieval Systems)
Indexing is a system used to make finding information easier. Indexing ranges from a detailed list, usually arranged alphabetically, of specific information like those used in a library to a computerized system of important information about your company and its historical records.
Document Scanning
Document scanning is the process of scanning paper (hard copy) documents, converting them to digital images that are then stored on CD, DVD or the hard drive of your computer.

Setting up your financial record keeping process using QuickBooks software and includes development of your company’s financial file management.
